Policies
Readable rules for a safer esports community.
Zone Esports Namibia is a voluntary esports community. These notices explain what Zone collects, what Zone will never ask for, how members should behave, and where responsibility is limited as far as legally allowed.
Never send passwords, OTPs, recovery codes, banking logins, or private platform credentials.
Zone roles, activities, lineups, and support are voluntary and subject to conduct and safety requirements.
Privacy Policy
Basic details only, no passwords.
Zone may collect basic information that a person chooses to submit for contact, competition entry, reporting, or communication purposes. This may include name, display name, email address, phone or social contact, country or city, age group, guardian contact where needed, role interest, game title, platform, team interest, availability, and an ID or similar verification detail only when an external competition, safety, prize, or admin review reasonably requires it.
Zone does not ask for game passwords, email passwords, OTPs, recovery codes, banking logins, private account access, or private platform credentials. If anyone asks for those details while claiming to represent Zone, treat it as unsafe and report it through official support.
- Information is used for community review, contact, safety, team formation, external competition entry support, and reporting.
- Zone uses third-party tools such as Google Forms, email, and social platforms. Those services have their own privacy and security rules.
- Do not submit information that Zone has not requested. Do not submit another person's ID or contact details unless you have permission.
- Zone keeps public pages free of private member records, account details, internal rosters, and sensitive documents.
Cookie Policy
Essential consent storage only.
The website uses an essential first-party consent cookie plus local or session storage so the age, policy, and cookie notice does not appear every time a visitor opens a page. The site also stores local feature progress for harmless site interactions.
Zone does not use advertising cookies on this static website. Third-party websites opened from Zone, such as Google Forms or social platforms, may use their own cookies after a visitor leaves this website.
Terms of Use
Participation is voluntary and reviewed.
Using this website or joining Zone does not automatically create employment, payment, representation, roster status, staff authority, sponsorship, or official membership. Roles are reviewed by Zone admins and may change based on conduct, availability, community needs, title support, safety, and external organizer requirements.
Zone currently presents itself as a Namibia-based voluntary gaming and esports community or association. This website does not claim that Zone is a registered company, charity, federation, professional league, government body, or national governing authority unless that status is formally confirmed.
- Use official channels for support, parent or guardian questions, reports, competition-entry questions, and partnership requests.
- Do not impersonate Zone, fake admin authority, publish false notices, or request account access from others.
- Do not submit malicious files, spam, scams, harassment, illegal content, or another person's private data.
- Zone may remove, restrict, or refuse participation where conduct creates safety, trust, legal, or operational risk.
Code of Conduct
Compete hard, protect the community.
Members, players, creators, volunteers, staff, and visitors are expected to act with respect, fair play, honesty, and basic professionalism. Zone does not accept harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, cheating, account theft, scam links, unsafe minor contact, or abuse of admin trust.
Reports can be reviewed by Zone admins. Outcomes may include warnings, content removal, removal from Zone activities or lineups, role changes, access restrictions, or referral to a parent, guardian, platform, organizer, or authority where needed.
Minor & Guardian Notice
Under-18 participation needs extra care.
Under-18 players should participate with parent or guardian awareness and permission. Zone may request a parent or guardian contact for external competitions, support, dispute handling, or prize-related matters. Younger members should avoid private one-to-one communication with unknown adults and should report unsafe contact immediately.
Where a minor gives false information, uses unsupervised accounts, shares private data, joins unofficial channels, or acts outside official Zone instructions, Zone limits responsibility as far as legally allowed.
Liability & Data Leak Notice
Reasonable care, clear limits.
Zone aims to handle submitted information with reasonable care for a voluntary community. Zone is not a bank, school, employer, legal adviser, cybersecurity provider, identity provider, or professional data-hosting service.
As far as legally allowed, Zone is not responsible for losses, leaks, account compromise, exposure, deleted data, unauthorized sharing, or other harm caused by third-party platforms, Google Forms, social networks, user devices, user mistakes, fake admins, unofficial channels, public posts, malicious links, platform breaches, force majeure, or information a person submits against Zone instructions.
Nothing in these policies removes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Zone will still try to act responsibly, reduce unnecessary data collection, and respond to reports through official channels.
Accessibility Statement
Readable, keyboard-friendly, and improving.
Zone aims for a website that works on mobile and desktop, supports keyboard navigation, uses readable contrast, and keeps important actions as real text links or buttons. If a page is difficult to read or use, report it to official support so it can be corrected.
