Zone HQ

The volunteer room behind the matches.

Founded by Quintin Duarte van Wyk on 13 February 2015, Zone grew from a small team into a voluntary esports community. Its modern Founding Statement became effective on 30 May 2026, formalizing volunteer roles, safeguarding, team support, and accountable operations.

Volunteer Lanes & Roles

Clear lanes help the community move without controlling it.

Zone is not one chat and one captain. HQ separates volunteer leadership, title direction, team support, content, competition coordination, support, and fair-play review so members know where each question belongs.

01

Founder & Leadership

Quintin Duarte van Wyk founded Zone and leads its current direction, governance, and long-term development.

02

Division Leads

Support team formation, tryouts, and captain coordination across every adopted title.

03

Captains / IGLs

Run match prep, comms, lineups, scrims, and squad expectations without losing team autonomy.

04

Game Coaches & Analysts

Support review, performance habits, discipline, strategy, and improvement across adopted titles.

05

06

Live Operating Areas

The work behind every lineup, practice, and result.

Each area has a purpose and a safe public route. Private forms, guardian details, account information, and internal records stay with approved admins only.

Community Direction

Titles, teams, and public activity.

Zone can explain its history, adopted titles, new game communities, team searches, external competition, and media without treating one game as the whole platform.

Match-Day Comms

Captains know what needs to happen.

Lineups, check-ins, room rules, result posts, delays, and referee calls stay clear when teams use official routes.

Content & Media

Announcements need one source of truth.

Highlights, posters, streams, player features, source mentions, event coverage, and official updates move through media support.

Open media
Fair Play

Competition stays clean and reviewable.

External competitions may include eligibility checks, room rules, anti-cheat expectations, referee calls, and result review. Zone teams follow the organizer's rules.
