Recent Changes
July 11, 2026
- Expanded the Events page into a fuller history archive with documented milestones, player stories, current competition pathways, and direct links to public source records.
- Added Zone Alpha and Zone Bandits as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team chapters, followed by Zone Aces in CS2, while marking exact roster dates and match details as archive gaps until supporting records are recovered.
- Reframed ZONE as a title-neutral esports platform: Counter-Strike is identified as the first established competitive chapter, Mobile Legends as a later adoption, and every game category remains open to community-led growth.
- Corrected Zone's founding date to 13 February 2015 and added first-hand history of the early team, PC-building effort, and smaller LAN trips through Keetmanshoop, Upington, Windhoek, Walvis Bay, and Swakopmund.
- Clarified that Zone forms teams and competes but does not currently host public tournaments. MTC NamLAN is identified as Oryx-hosted with NESA support, alongside NESA National Qualifiers, Paradox Africa Esports 2026, scrims, friendlies, and team searches.
- Removed unconfirmed upcoming-event listings. When no event has been officially confirmed, visitors are directed to Zone's official communication channels.
- Adjusted the Events page light theme for improved contrast and consistency.
